This week in Guidance
This week Mrs. Erickson showed a great video to students and I just had to pass it along! Students are learning about feelings and this week’s feeling was anger. The video shares through the eyes of kids a definition of anger and how to calm your body. Great video Mrs. Erickson!!!!

Bus safety
Today we practiced how to be safe on the bus. We took a short ride around the parking lot and practiced how to get off the bus if there was an emergency. Thanks to our bus drivers for taking such great care of our students!
Counting Strategies
This week we are learning different ways to count. Today we practiced the strategy, I can count like I read. We practiced using our pointer finger to point to each object, start at the left (just like we would when we read) and then at the end of the line drop down and over to continue counting. Here is our anchor chart. I will try to update you each day on our progress.
